À propos des auteurs

MICHELLE DOUGLAS has been writing for Mills & Boon since 2007, and believes she has the best job in the world. She's a sucker for happy endings, heroines who have a secret stash of chocolate, and heroes who know how to laugh. She lives in Newcastle Australia with her own romantic hero, a house full of dust and books, and an eclectic collection of sixties and seventies vinyl. She loves to hear from readers and can be contacted via her website www.michelle-douglas.com Kandy Shepherd swapped a fast-paced career as a magazine editor for a life writing romance.
She lives on a small farm in the Blue Mountains near Sydney, Australia, with her husband, daughter, and a menagerie of animal friends. Kandy believes in love at first sight and real-life romance-they worked for her! Kandy loves to hear from her readers. Visit her website at: www.kandyshepherd.com Nikki Logan lives amongst a string of wetlands in Australia with her partner and a menagerie of animals.
Her stories are full of romance in descriptive, natural environments. She believes the richness and danger of wild places perfectly mirror the passion and risk of falling in love. Nikki authored her first romance on a sabbatical from work. Determined to be published by forty, her first book hit shelves in February 2010, her fortieth year, and she hasn't looked back since. Previously a teacher, pig farmer, and builder (among other things), Meredith Webber turned to writing medical romances when she decided she needed a new challenge.
Once committed to giving it a "real" go she joined writers' groups, attended conferences and read every book on writing she could find. Teaching a romance writing course helped her to analyze what she does, and she believes it has made her a better writer. Readers can email Meredith at: mem@onthenet.com.au Carol Marinelli recently filled in a form asking for her job title. Thrilled to be able to put down her answer, she put writer.
Then it asked what Carol did for relaxation and she put down the truth - writing. The third question asked for her hobbies. Well, not wanting to look obsessed she crossed the fingers on her hand and answered swimming but, given that the chlorine in the pool does terrible things to her highlights - I'm sure you can guess the real answer. Amy is a multi-award winning, USA Today bestselling author who has written over forty contemporary romances for several Harlequin imprints.
She's an Aussie who loves good books, fab food, great wine and frequent travel - preferably all four together. She lives by the ocean with her husband of twenty-nine years. To keep up with her latest releases and giveaways, sign up for her newsletter at www.amyandrews.com.au/newsletter.html Avril Tremayne became a writer via careers in shoe-selling, nursing, teaching and public relations. Along the way, she studied acting, singing, pottery, oil painting, millinery, German and Arabic (among other things). A committed urbanite, her favourite stories are fast-paced contemporary city stories told with sass and humour. Married with one daughter, Avril lives in Sydney, Australia. When not writing or reading, she's thinking about food, wine and shoes. Emily Forbes is an award winning medical romance author for Harlequin Mills & Boon.
She has written 28 books and in 2013 won the Australian Romantic Book of the Year for her novel Sydney Harbor Hospital: Bella's Wishlist. Get in touch with Emily at emilyforbes@internode.on.net, via her website http://www.emily-forbesauthor.com/, her Author Page on Facebook or chat with Harlequin Medical Romance authors at http://loveisthebestmedicine.wordpress.com/ Lindsay Armstrong was born in South Africa.
She grew up with three ambitions: to become a writer, to travel the world, and to be a game ranger. She managed two out of three! When Lindsay went to work it was in travel and this started her on the road to seeing the world. It wasn't until her youngest child started school that Lindsay sat down at the kitchen table determined to tackle her other ambition - to stop dreaming about writing and do it! She hasn't stopped since. Rachel Bailey developed a serious book addiction at a young age and has never recovered.
She went on to earn degrees in psychology and social work, but is now living her dream-writing romance for a living. She lives on a piece of paradise on Australia's Sunshine Coast with her hero and four dogs. Rachel can be contacted through her website, www.rachelbailey.com. Barbara Hannay lives in North Queensland where she and her writer husband have raised four children. Barbara loves life in the north where the dangers of cyclones, crocodiles and sea stingers are offset by a relaxed lifestyle, glorious winters, World Heritage rainforests and the Great Barrier Reef.
Besides writing, Barbara enjoys reading, gardening and planning extensions to accommodate her friends and her extended family. Leah Martyn comes from a long line of storytellers and finds writing comes to her as naturally as breathing. As well as her medical romances, she has written and published short stories. She insists her characters must have a sense of humour! She loves vacationing in Queensland and browsing in bookshops is high on her list of enjoyable things to do.
Consequently, each year around Christmas, she breaks the budget, buying an armful of new releases to read over the holidays. Melanie Milburne read her first Harlequin at age seventeen in between studying for her final exams. After completing a Masters Degree in Education she decided to write a novel and thus her career as a romance author was born. Melanie is an ambassador for the Australian Childhood Foundation and is a keen dog lover and trainer and enjoys long walks in the Tasmanian bush.
In 2015 Melanie won the HOLT Medallion, a prestigous award honouring outstanding literary talent. Annie spent most of her childhood with a leg draped over the family rocking chair and a book in her hand. Novels, baking and writing too much teenage angst poetry ate up most of her youth. Now, Annie splits her time between corralling her husband into helping her with their cows, listening to audio books whilst weeding and spending some very happy hours at her computer writing. Margaret Way was born in the City of Brisbane.
A Conservatorium trained pianist, teacher, accompanist and vocal coach, her musical career came to an unexpected end when she took up writing, initially as a fun thing to do. She currently lives in a harbourside apartment at beautiful Raby Bay, where she loves dining all fresco on her plant-filled balcony, that overlooks the marina. No one and nothing is a rush so she finds the laid-back Village atmosphere very conducive to her writing
