À propos des auteurs

Christine Merrill wanted to be a writer for as long as she can remember. During a stint as a stay-at-home-mother, she decided it was time to "write that book." She could set her own hours and would never have to wear pantyhose to work! It was a slow start but she slogged onward and seven years later, she got the thrill of seeing her first book hit the bookstores. Christine lives in Wisconsin with her family.
Visit her website at: www.christine-merrill.com Marguerite Kaye writes hot historical romances from her home in cold and usually rainy Scotland. Featuring Regency Rakes, Highlanders and Sheikhs, she has published over fifty books and novellas. When she's not writing she enjoys walking, cycling (but only on the level), gardening (but only what she can eat) and cooking. She also likes to knit and occasionally drink martinis (though not at the same time).
Find out more on her website: www.margueritekaye.com Annie Burrows love of stories meant that when she was old enough to go to university, she chose English literature. She wasn't sure what she wanted to do beyond that, but one day, she began to wonder if all those daydreams that kept her mind occupied whilst carrying out mundane chores, would provide similar pleasure to other women. She was right.
and Annie hasn't looked back since. Readers can sign up to Annie's newsletter at www.annie-burrows.co.uk Barbara Monajem grew up in western Canada. She wrote her first story in third grade about apple tree gnomes. After dabbling in neighborhood musicals and teen melodrama, she published a middle-grade fantasy when her children were young. Now her kids are adults, and she writes historical and paranormal romance for grownups.
She lives in Georgia, USA , with an ever-shifting population of relatives, friends, and mostly feline strays. LINDA SKYE was born to Filipino parents in the United States and raised in Canada. She is a modern-day nomad, moving across country and ocean with her military husband. She currently lives in Canada and spends her free time writing, taking care of her two baby boys and dreaming of adventures at home and abroad.
Linda specializes in teaching languages and literature. Though she is currently teaching at a local university, Linda is a full-time daydreamer with a passion for the exotic. Louise Allen has been immersing herself in history for as long as she can remember. She finds landscapes and places evoke powerful images of the past - Venice, Burgundy and the Greek islands are favourite destinations. Louise lives on the Norfolk coast.
She spends her spare time gardening, researching family history or travelling in search of inspiration. Please visit Louise's website - www.louiseallenregency.co.uk, or find her on Twitter @LouiseRegency and on Facebook. Lucy Ashford, an English Studies lecturer, graduated in English with history at Nottingham University, and the Regency is her favourite period. Lucy, who has always loved to immerse herself in historical romances, has had several novels published, but this is her first for Mills and Boon.
She lives with her husband in an old stone cottage in the Peak District, near to beautiful Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall, all of which give her a taste of the magic of life in a bygone age Joanna Fulford's two great passions as a child were horses and writing. Riding developed her love of and respect for the countryside - though it was sometimes seen at much closer quarters than anticipated - and writing allowed exploration of the inner landscape.
But teaching was Joanna's calling for many years, and she only left education to pursue writing full-time when it became a growing compulsion! Linda Sole was started writing in 1976 and writing as Anne Herries, won the 2004 RNA Romance Award and the Betty Neels Trophy. Linda loves to write about the beauty of nature, though they are mostly about love and romance. She writes for her own enjoyment and loves to give pleasure to her readers.
In her spare time, she enjoys watching the wildlife that visits her garden. Anne has now written more fifty books for HMB. You can visit her website at: www.lindasole.co.u Elizabeth Beacon has a passion for history and storytelling and, with the English West Country on her doorstep, never lacks a glorious setting for her books. Elizabeth tried horticulture, higher education as a mature student, briefly taught English and worked in an office, before finally turning her daydreams about dashing, piratical heroes and their stubborn and independent heroines into her dream job; writing Regency romances for Harlequin, Mills and Boon Annie Burrows love of stories meant that when she was old enough to go to university, she chose English literature.

But her writing life only started when she was given a pile of Mills & Boons to read after she had had her wisdom teeth extracted! Filled with strong painkillers she imagined that she could pen one, too. Many drafts later Sophia thinks she has the perfect job writing for Harlequin Historical as well as taking art tours to Europe with her husband, who is a painter. She always loved the glamorous, if rather risky, Georgians and in particular the Regency era as drawn by Georgette Heyer. It was that love that prompted her to write her first Regency novel in 2000. She found she enjoyed it so much she just couldn't stop! Ann gave up a career in university administration to focus on her first love, writing novels and lives in Canada with her family. Visit her website at: www.annlethbridge.com Amanda McCabe wrote her first romance at sixteen - a vast historical epic starring all her friends as the characters, written secretly during algebra class! She's never since used algebra, but her books have been nominated for many awards, including the RITA Award, Booksellers Best, National Readers Choice Award and the Holt Medallion.
